We ordered food online. Unfortunately the delivery was one hour late. I understand it can happen when it is very busy, but I phoned the business to ask what the estimated delivery time would be and no-one could speak English to answer my question. The food was very nice, the online ordering was easy, just the communication with foreigners is below expectations.
My husband waited for 30 minutes for our order tonight. He was in a hurry and didn’t think to check the order. My big box was missing the wrap and our son’s chicken was spicy! Who serves spicy chicken in kids’ meal?! He is only 7 and he cried because it was so spicy. I had to send my husband back just now and it will be another 30 minutes to get our food (due to traffic and also due to slow service). By the time my husband comes back (hopefully with replacement meals), other part of the order will be cold. Very disappointing because it’s not the first time that the KFC at Ster gives incomplete orders. Previous time I just let it go and ate just the wings but today I sent my husband back to the mall to go get the correct order because my son was left with no dinner. What a shame because we love KFC as it reminds us of home.
Update: My husband just messaged me to say that the manager on duty informed him that chicken is always spicy. That’s not true! As someone who’s only ever ordered the kids’ meal for my son I can assure you it’s never been spicy. EVER! So that’s a very poor excuse… our son does not eat spicy, ever! He’s only 7. So instead of admitting to the mistake she made up an excuse. She’s also replacing it with the leg and not the strips. My son doesn’t eat the bone in chicken. I guess I have to make him a sandwich tonight. What a waste of time and money!
Update 2: it’s absolutely ridiculous that we have to eat cold food. The manager didn’t replace the rest of my order. If you are representing a US company (as a franchise), you should offer same level of customer service. Your employees made a mistake but yet we as customers have to pay for it.
