Czech restaurant in the old town, in the center square. The staff is friendly and speaks both English and Russian. The menu selection is quite large and the prices are relatively low. A wide selection of meat dishes. Salads, soups, fish dishes, desserts. About the food itself – the portions were large, both the salad with shrimps and the meat were tasty. For dessert, we chose ice cream with berries and cookies. The kids liked it. We were there in the evening around 22:00. We did not make a reservation in advance. Places were available.
Nice place, nice service, Czech music playing inside the restaurant. The restaurant is inspired by Czech cuisine, just like Pysna Chalupa, which we also visited. For fun 🙂 if you order the typical Czech toast with meat mixture „Diabelska topinka”, you will be surprised by the dumpling. The Czech version is definitely better, but as they say – different country, different mores. It was cool. 🙂 We were satisfied!
It’s good place to eat. Do not expect everything exactly like in Czech but it’s close enough and tastes good, actually deep fried Gouda is much better than what you can get nowadays in Czech. Steak tartar could come with real „topinka” (deep fried bread) and lots of garlic, and it would be top class dish. We came back many times over 3 days and tried few dishes.
I loved the retro Czech music they play inside, and mainly nice and patient staff. All girls who served us were very professional, let me mention Marita and Alicia, I’ll ask for more names when we are back. It was great, thanks so much guys ❤️

I had the pleasure of dining at Drevny Cocur last weekend, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, and I especially want to highlight Darian. His kindness, knowledge of the menu, and attention to detail made our evening truly special.
Darian ensured that every dish we tried was perfect for our tastes, recommending excellent options based on our preferences. His positive energy and genuine care for making sure everything was just right made us feel incredibly welcome.
The food was, of course, delicious, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. But what really stood out was Darian’s exceptional service, which elevated the entire experience to another level. Drevny Cocur has easily become one of my favorite spots, largely thanks to Darian’s amazing work. I’ll definitely be back soon!

We ordered schnitzel and chicken tight shashlik. They were very delicious, large portions. Price/quality/quantity ratio pretty good
