I had lunch at Piccolo Spaghetti Bar located at Garbary Street 35.
As someone who eats in hundreds of restaurants every year, because my work makes me have to eat outside, with work-related travels – far away from home, I have the chance to try numerous restaurants. While I always strive to provide positive feedback, I must be honest about my experience at this particular establishment.
I ordered the lasagna, which unfortunately left me disappointed. It was apparent that the dish had been heated in a microwave and served in a plastic container. Moreover, the taste was overly sweet, which I found deeply unappetising and impossible to eat.
Despite my efforts, I was unable to finish the meal and had to throw away half of it. It pains me to waste food, but the unusual combination of sweetness made it difficult to consume.
It’s important to note that despite my personal experience, Piccolo Spaghetti Bar seems to be a popular place with a good reputation and reasonable prices. It’s possible that my particular dish or taste preferences were not in alignment with their usual offerings.
As someone who frequents various restaurants, I understand that it’s not uncommon to encounter dishes that don’t meet our personal preferences. While my experience may not have been ideal, I believe it’s essential to approach reviews with fairness and understanding. I’m sure Piccolo Spaghetti Bar has many other dishes that cater to different tastes, and it might be worth exploring their menu further.
Overall, I appreciate the affordability and the reputation of Piccolo Spaghetti Bar, but I personally had a very bad and disappointing experience with the lasagna.

Very nice lasagna and bolognese spaghetti. Yes they microwave it but it’s still good and prices are good as well.
