239 is a place with vegetarian cuisine, with vegan option. I have eaten there many times, food always tasty. From breakfast morning, later, outside the old lunch menu. A strong point on the vegetarian map of Poznan

This place has such a good reviews and nice looking menu so I was tempted to try.
I am not sure if this was perhaps just on that day, but I found it quite disappointing unfortunately. There was a very nice bartender but I think he was on his own and although there was only three tables taken it took a long time for the order. The options look quite healthy, however the toast and chickpea omelette soaked in oil. And the biggest minus is for chairs. They are very uncomfortable.
The coffee was nice bit overall I don’t think I’ll be back.

The food was pretty good and the drinks were decent. The grape juice coffee is definitely an acquired taste. Service was decent, even though the server forgot to bring my wife the soup that she ordered. Overall, not a bad place to eat.

Expensive for the quality. The pieces of cake were small, nothing extraordinary, and the lemonade just tasted honey.
Edit: after the owner’s response, I change my assessment for lower.
There is not need to be rude, but I’ve seen that is your constant reaction after a negative opinion. 🙂

Usually I leave good feedbacks only but this time is an exception. First of all it took me 5 min waiting behind the counter for the owner to take my order, which is fine, but still I had no attention or greetings. Owner made me a flat white on regular milk, however I asked for an oat milk. Then he refused to provide me a basic tap water in a small glass (which is nonsense because he had filtered water tap and its also just a basic rule in coffee places). Flat white was bitter, had notes of burned wood (seems people here don’t tweak their grind settings either clean coffee machine and grinder or don’t care about coffee itself). And lastly, after an hour I was pissed off when owner just came to me saying that he is closing in 5 min. It was just beginning of the day, 12:05. Will never visit this place ever again.
