It’s difficult to find but worth it. I hope the restaurant will add directions in front of the building on how to get there 🙂 You need to enter a building that doesn’t look like a restaurant. Do not give up once inside. Just turn left, then you’ll see stairs going down and follow that path!
The old slavic soup is amazing! It’s also medium portion so if you’re like me who’s short and average weight, it might be enough as mains. The chocolate fondant is also great! I love the interior design filled with wooden items.

I know this place is an institution, and it indeed has a unique atmosphere with some unique dishes on the menu. I had the chance to try several but none left a memorable impression. The deer meat was new for me, and I regret that it wasn’t tender enough. It had a strong smell which isn’t a problem in itself but it’s something to keep in mind. I’m sure it could have tasted much better. The tripe soup was okay, but probably too heavy—I can hardly imagine one person finishing it as a main dish. We were the only ones in the restaurant, seated in the large basement, which didn’t make us feel very comfortable.
