We entered the cafe and everyone starred at us. We felt unwelcome. We found a seat and sat down reading the menu. The waitress ignored us. We sat there for ten minutes before leaving as the atmosphere felt horrible. We felt unwelcome and not wanted. The food looked tasty but we were ignored and didn’t get to try it.
I personally had a terrible experience. I do not recommend. I visited for the first time a year ago and ordered an ice coffee (during summer time), it was on the menu and they had only opened 10 minutes ago, but did not have ingredients. I was given very weak coffee with a cream/milk and a scoop of ice cream inside the cup. For breakfast this was not good at all – and this one item for 25zł. In a more recent visit to the establishment, the food was okay, nothing extraordinary. In my opinion the price is too much for the quality. The sitting is also a bit cramped. The service was nice, but took some time. I don’t think I will come again.
This is by far the best breakfast place in Poznan. We try to come here every weekend if we can. The place is cozy, the food is consistently delicious, and the owner always makes the tastiest cakes. We absolutely love the lady that owns this place. She is a genuinely good person who loves talking to and cares about her customers. For example, she knows we don’t speak Polish well, so she helps and converses with us in English and has memorized the dishes we always order. We’ve seen her do this with other customers as well. You must try this hidden neighborhood gem when visiting Poznan
