Very friendly staff (possibility even to charge a phone) and delicious food. Quite nice atmosphere of mountain restaurant. Wide offer of Czech beer and local alcohols.

stayed just opposite from here and wanted to try it as it looked like an authentic mountain restaurant. We loved the atmosphere inside, all the staff were kind and inviting upon arriving.
We stayed for food and drinks, seated along the balcony with a view of the outside. The seating was comfy with the fur seats that added a great touch to the mountains close by.
The food was amazing also, I had the Lamb Soup Bread bowl and enjoyed all of it. Great flavour and very filling. Hopefully, one day I will return to the mountains and will definitely order this dish again.
The second dish was a potato salad with breaded cheese I think.. I did not eat this dish so I’m unsure of the name for it, but my partner loved it.
We both had a great time during our stay here for a meal and drinks and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting close by to try it for an authentic feel and a taste of the mountains!

So, new review. I came back in 2024,and it was not good anymore
The Zurek, soup in bread, was now mediocre and served in bread that wasn’t worth eating. The service had gone down hill as well. They forgot about my drink, and when we got the first food was when I reminded them. They then brought me the wrong drink. Generally inattentive. And this was on a quiet evening with few other customers. Overall disappointing.

Very delicious food. I came back for the soup in bread which I really enjoy. And my partner had the Hungarian pancake again.

The driest and most expensive fish I’ve tried in this town. Maybe other food is okay… The place is cosy, but we had to wait to be seated. The homemade lemonade was too sweet. But there was nice service and pleasant waitresses.

My family and I came into this town for the second time and as before we decided to go eat at the place where the biggest queue was at, and of course this place had the biggest one of them all. When we entered, we were pleasantly impressed by the interior design of the place as well as our waiter’s upbeat attitude, he gave us some coloring postcards and made us put away our phones, and later created a ballon for my sibling with a smiley face on it 🙂 When it comes to food – we couldn’t finish all of it properly as the portions were so big, despite our efforts to eat it all because of it being so great. This made me feel like I went on a vacation truly, trying all of the greatest foods and practically rolling out of the place with my belly full! Totally recommend and it is worth the wait in the queue!
