TL;DR: will just rip you off if given opportunity; nevertheless, if you are lucky, this may even be a nice place

As a bigger group of friends (18 people) we have had a really bad experience there.

Despite early booking it was only on the day of arrival when it turned out that our private rooms were given to someone else and half of our party was relocated to another place, ca. 1 km away. As it was a suprise for us it was no news for the owner of the other place – the other rooms were already prepared for us 2 days ago; knowing about the overbooking problem the owner did not bother to contact us and try to resolve the issue beforehand.

Moreover, during the fierce discussion that arose upon our arrival we were verbally assaulted and threatened by the group which took the places that were booked for us – with the owner taking side of thier criminally inclined, newer and better guests.

Generally, as long as you do not interefere with the procedeengs of the „famiglia” that runs this place you may even have a nice experience as the surroundings are breeathtaking and facilities satisfactory. The risk involved in interaction with the owners may even be treated as an added value for the thrill seekers.

A really nice hotel in a quiet little town near Kamienna Góra. I normally stay here for Christmas and Easter– they’re pretty booked up at both those times so be sure to make a reservation if that’s when you’re staying. Wi-Fi is good enough and beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean and decorated rustically. They have a huge end-of-the-year New Year’s Eve party with live music and a bunch of other fun stuff– I’ve never attended, but it really seems like a fun way to spend your holiday. They have a bar with cheap drinks, and every time I’ve been there, they provide a delicious homemade breakfast and dinner– half-sour pickles, soups, cheese platter, lard, and other country style foods. It’s deep in the village so expect to be woken up by roosters and to see cats milling around. Definitely recommend. It’s something around 140zł for a room in the photos.
