Located in the heart of Poznan near the Cathedral, Dynx is a delightful find. We visited for breakfast, and the beautiful decor and floral arrangements set a wonderful atmosphere.
The service was exceptional. Our server, Filip, went out of his way to understand my wife’s specific tea preference, customizing her drink and our breakfast perfectly. This personalized touch made our meal special.
The food was delicious and tailored to our tastes. Dynx was a highlight of our two-week tour of Poland. Highly recommended for its excellent food, superb service, and charming ambiance.
After being told at Tumska that they could not serve us because they close.. In… 40 minutes? Hmmm? Then going to Ratajska Kuchnia i Wino and they have.. Six…parking spaces? Good thing because Dynx was A M A Z I N G! First time we go into an establishment that had great service, delicious food AND played smooth music. We have lived in Poland for nine months and have traveled to many cities here. They have had the knack of plating food to look wonderful but taste awful. Dynx has super tasty tenderloin, lovely spinach, leeks and mushroom, and delicious au gratin. The service was magnificent. We serve the soldiers here in Powidz and look forward to bringing them here on our visit to Poznan.
Fun place for lunch after touring Brama Posnań and the basilica. “Dynx” is a hard word to translate into English. I’m told it translates as “thing” in a disappearing German-influenced Polish dialect, but that evidently doesn’t quite capture the shade of meaning. Had the grilled chicken. A little dry by my druthers, but still fine. Staff is accommodating and efficient. I’d definitely go there again.
Amazing food, and very well presented. The spinach dumplings were amazing and so was the beef tartare. Filip was a very attentive server and the meal finished with the most gorgeous herbal tea.
The waitress was extremely friendly and sweet, and she was very helpful to us. However, the parmesan cheese in the dish I ate tasted completely like soap. It was the worst meal I’ve ever had in my life, I couldn’t finish it at all, and I had to leave the restaurant still hungry.
