Nice hotel. Very beautiful scenary! We had some issues with the spa, but they gave us an acceptable compensation, so no complaints. Note there is no cellular reception here, but in my opinion that’s for the best. I took one star out because the sheets weren’t clean enough…
Hotel is placed in beautiful area in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the forest and mountains. During the autumn the landscape is absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean, food in the restaurant is very good. There is permanent problem with phone signal so it is very hard to make a calls (mostly, only outside of the building), but the wifi is perfect.
Here are some things that really shouldn’t happen in a 4-stars hotel:
– Some guests clearly receiving better treatment than others.
– Improper use of masks from reception staff.
– Assuming anyone accompanying guests on wheelchair to be „carers”.
– Upon receiving guests in hotel attractions, rushing ahead leaving them behind and even „forgetting” them there.
– A swimming pool with broken/deactivated features.
Dining room staff and one particular, kind receptionist were the only points separating this from an expensive B&B of rude staff.
I stayed at this hotel two times and enjoyed it a lot. Unique location in the midst of the forest and mountains next to old uranium mine. Experience includes radon inhalations, spa procedures, swimming pool, fine dining and, of course, tracking routes, including to Czech village. Most likely I will be back soon
We really enjoyed the whole stay! The food was really great, beautiful nature and very helpful staff. We used the spa every day. We also want to appreciate how quickly the staff responded to the power outage – they placed candles on the stairs and there was hot food and coffee at breakfast despite the outage! Great job and we will definitely be back.
