Terrible Experience: Language Barrier and Hygiene Issues at Hotel Verde Montana Spa & Wellness
My recent visit to Hotel Verde Montana Spa & Wellness was marred by numerous issues, exacerbated by a frustrating language barrier. Despite our attempts to communicate in English, the staff only spoke Polish, making it difficult to address our concerns effectively.
Furthermore, the hygiene standards were shockingly poor. The changing rooms were filthy, and the pool walls were covered in grime and algae. The excessive chlorine levels in the pool caused severe allergic reactions for all of us. To our horror, we even encountered a cockroach in the changing room.
Given these unacceptable conditions and the inability to communicate with staff, I strongly caution against staying at Hotel Verde Montana Spa & Wellness until they improve their hygiene standards and provide multilingual support.
Fantastic place to stay, relax, and swim. Rooms are good equipped, nice and polite service. Many parking places (paid). The spa area with variety offer. It was the best massage I’ve ever had. The swimming pools area with jacuzzi (interior and exterior). Thank you for good hospitality and memories .
Super unsafe SPA facility, the floor at the swimming pool is like ice glazed. Slipped and fell over what resulted in serious injury. Ambulance took me to hospital located nearly 30 miles from hotel. after 5 painful stiches got released from hospital at midnight! Unable to walk without knowing even where I was! Luckily, some hospital staff helped me out with sorting transport back to hotel. The Verde Montana staff didn’t care about what happened to me. Never even checked if I’m ok. Spent the rest of holiday stuck to a hotel bed. Being unable to walk, and with antibiotics to prevent infection from the cut. Didn’t even hear „we’re sorry” nothing! Other guest also complained about unsafe facilities on swimming pool, but they just get ignored same as me. Now they denied any responsibility about what happened. I will take them to court. They don’t deserve 4 stars. Should be 3-star hotel for what they offer and for how they treat guests. Avoid! So many better places to stay, with way better staff and facilities.
3 stars hotel rooms ok , no cleaning i 3 days mis of towels and toilet paper..pick up yourself in reception. Spa excellent. Restaurant food same level as IKEA…
I booked this hotel for the business trip back in February. While the hotel is nice, and we had great time in SPA, I’ve encountered 3 unpleasant situations during the stay, and hence caused inconvenience to my colleagues as well.
Firstly, I have not been informed that „apartment” is only available with one queen size bed, and there is no option to have a twin with 2 separate beds. Even though I had 3 calls with the hotel in advance, and 3 separate confirmations that separate beds are available for every entity booked. We haven’t been offered a solution even after talking to the administrator.
Secondly, our request to borrow wine glasses has not been fulfilled. Apparently, its a hotel policy to promote consumption in the restaurant only. In fact, its just another occasion to earn money.
Thirdly, I have been asked to make an extra payment at the checkout, even though this has already been paid in advance. We only had one SPA liability, but there was a mismatch of information which caused a 15 min delay.
