We loved this place. The focaccia was brilliant, hot, perfectly-made, delicious. We ordered the gnocci with nduja and the lasagne, and we were blown away by how good both dishes were. We travel to Italy often and the food here tasted fresh and the ingredients were on point.
We went at 5:30pm and the restaurant was fairly busy, we were glad we made reservations. The restaurant itself has an easy vibe and is an enjoyable place to have an evening, there’s a shop up front selling Italian ingredients which was fun to browse. The atmosphere wasn’t stuffy and felt nice without being too overdone. The waitstaff smiled, were kind, and helped us when we needed — it was definitely better than the average restaurant experience here in town.
For most Italian restaurants I would make a qualification in the rating for „Inside of Italy” and „Outside of Italy” — giving a little mercy for the one’s outside of Italy. However, this place doesn’t need mercy. It’s wonderful and definitely the best in town for Italian. It beats Italian places I go to regularly back in the states and many I’ve been to in Italy, honestly. We will be coming back to enjoy evenings here and I recommend it.
The food here is super delicious. A proper italian specialties. I havent eaten such a delicious meal for very long time. I had pasta with pistachio pesto and straciatella. Also amazing parmigiana la melanzane if you like The desserts are must try – tiramisu is balanced and with great consistency, krem brule – delicious and delicate, canoli very pleasant and not too sweet. I was abit afraid that it would be too sweet. Great place. Will definatelly come back 🙂 Bravo for the cook and pastry chef
Fully booked but we found a place downstairs so all good. Friendly owner and good service from a big part of the staff. A young lady who was serving us downstairs ran away after we finished half a sentence though so unfortunately one star less. Nice place though and I would return there for the atmosphere and food. A few meters outside the centre. Try the focaccias …
We could still book a table for 10 persons for Friday evening due to a creative and helpful staff member. Good tasty and fresh food, very nice selection of wines, all still quite affordable. We even had live music during the start of the dinner. Good and swift service, great food and friendly atmosphere.
Following the reviews of other users/guests didn’t disappoint: it is one of (if not THE) the best Italian restaurants in Poznań. Pappardelle alla Bottega was deliciously spicy and the flavour of mushrooms was nicely coming through, saltimbocca was, as my husband said, „as it should be”: slices of meat almost as thin as the ham and then the sage. The children also didn’t have one thing to complain about: the soup, pizza and pasta were all delicious (according to them). We will definitely visit again whenever we’re back in Poznań
