One of our local delegates organised our visit.
We arrived around 7.30pm there was 22 of us, given the weather the day before was poor, they had arranged tables inside downstairs for us, given it was 20 degrees and sunny, they rearranged the table outside for us.
The menus have English translation on them, there is a multitude of dishes available. A selection of drinks both alcoholic and not.
Our choices were duly taken and apart from a couple of minor hiccups everyone got what they ordered. We were able to settle up individually quickly and efficiently, and prices were very good. The food was tasty and inviting, just below the old market central clock, nice surroundings. Worth a visit.
Had dinner here last week and tasted like my babcia made it. I had the trout and my wife the chicken rouladen. Both dishes were delicious and a nice portion size. The waitress came immediately to take our order but since we had never been there we needed more time. Then we waited for someone to come back and take our order. Then we waited quite a while for our food. If the food would have not been so good our overall experience would not have been as good.
Fantastic restaurant with great service. Food was some of the best I’ve had in poznan.
Freindly polite service from all members of staff. Give it a try we will be back thank you.
Went here today as a tourist for my first meal in Poland and first try of Polish food. Their żurek was one of the best things I’ve tasted in a very long time, and I’m so glad I waited to try pierogi in Poland rather than looking for them back home – it was worth it. We ordered the szare kluchy, pierogi ruskie, and żurek as well as an iced latte and it came to 124zł/£25 – very affordable. Though I felt bad about him having to do so, our waiter was perfectly happy to serve us in English and made sure our meal went well even though neither of us spoke any Polish beyond basic greetings and thanks.
I’d definitely come back here if I revisit Poznań – thanks for the great atmosphere, experience, and my first taste of Polish cuisine!
Cosy atmosphere, located in the middle of the old market square, with outside tables viewing on the market square.
The food was good, I really enjoyed that, only the pyzy could be more home made.
