The mountain hotel offers a spacious dining area, providing a grand atmosphere. However, the presence of signs restricting food consumption hampers the overall experience, creating an unwelcome ambiance. The entrance to the toilet resembles a football stadium, which might be overwhelming. On a positive note, the sleeping area is impressively vast, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Food is okay and people are very talkative.
We did not enjoy our over night stay here 🙁 Disgusting smell in the room and hallway, not really clean, food was tasteless. Very depressing atmosphere.
However, the young man (receptionist/waiter) was nice and offer for breakfast was quite good – simple but reasonable price and quality. The house is under construction, so I can imagine accommodation in 1-2 years will be better.
We stayed in the shelter for 3 nights. The location was great and the feeling of sleeping at the higher altitude was what we wanted in order to feel the ‘mountain atmosphere’.
Keep in mind that you are able to charge your phone only until 8pm, unless you have the usb-A device then you can charge it in your room.
The prices were a rip off and by far it was the shelter with the highest food/drink prices in the area.
It felt like if they could, they would charge sleeping guests to pay for toilet and shower.
The price 6 PLN for boiling water without any other alternative to get it. We saw in other shelter that they provided a kettle for guests to use in a common area.
Perhaps could recommend for one night, but suggesting to bring your food if possible. Also, vegans can forget to find anything suitable to eat.
Also, there were no recycling bins to segregate trash. Other shelters in the area all had it.
We were on a hike and stop there to have some small dish. The bartender was working very slow, not caring about customers at all, plus rude.
We ordered a soup and it was sort of okay, but definitely not worth the price and did not meet the expectation. Table was dirty too. What really surprised us were paid toilettes even for customers.
I would maybe understand it if the toilette was at least clean and neat, but it was the opposite – dirty bathroom seats (all of them!), no soap, the bathroom sink was barely running. Horrible experience.
We have ordered two soups. Soups were quite average, but we got bread with mold. The bartender (who was very unpleasant) did exchange it upon request, but it seemed like this was quite normal for him. He only asked kitchen to give him fresh bread (which still didn’t look fresh enough to consume in my opinion). Overall, see this place just from the outside.
