The Wang Terrace

The hotel is nice with fairly large rooms and tasty meals in the restaurant. The downside of the hotel are the opening hours of the restaurant, which closes at 8 p.m. There was also no bottled water in the rooms, which would’ve been expected in a hotel of this quality. Overall 4/5 stars, would recommend with some remarks.

Very good location, free parking and good breakfast, however, after reading the reviews, I was expecting something more. 1 star less for a cold room. It was -7°C outside and in the room and bathroom thermostats were set to 0. It was still cold for two days and even the request to raise the temperature was unsuccessful. Nobody went to the room to check the temperature. This is unacceptable. If you are going there in winter or snowy spring, you must be informed that the ascent is steep, so some inexperienced drivers can get into trouble. There is no electric kettle in the room so you cannot make a cup of tea or coffee. I didn’t like the room because there were no paintings on the walls and it was very raw. TV was hanging too high so it was inconvenient to watch it. Looking at the building I expected a mountain climate sense that was also in the lobby. Unfortunately the room was without any style. Moreover scrambled eggs were too watery and there was no refills at breakfast time. No snack packs possible if you want to take something to eat in the mountains and no take-out option from breakfast. If you want to eat in one restaurant and you are late because it was early closed, you don’t have the same dishes in the other. That’s weird. I can’t say anything about the personel because they seems just to be there. All in all, the location isn’t bad, but there are some negative factors that disappointed me.

I wish I read the restaurant reviews before I ate there. The food was not tasty at all!!
