Ok ramen. Got the „classic” bowl. Broth was tasty but very thick. Came with a single large piece of pork impossible to eat with chopsticks easily. The waiter was very nice and they have a few good beers in bottles.
The food is good and the stuff is extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable, really eager to help you with the choice of what to order. The place itself is super cool, the atmosphere is great. However, we’ve waited almost an hour once we got the starter, before we actually got the main dish. Thankfully we were not super hungry, therefore we could wait, but knowing that the reservation is only for two hours it might be the problem to finish all on time.
Will come back anyway, maybe we were just unlucky!
Food was very good, although some variations pretty unconventional. I definitely recommend cheese tteokbokki and sandos (they are HUGE!). Pho was pretty good, but not the best i have eaten. What the place lacks is the climate – it’s just too casual, even a little bit ugly. Maybe nice to go out with friends during the week, but then it’d have to be some rich friends. If the aim of the owners was so it looks like a casual, street-food place somewhere in Japan, then the prices also should be more affordable. The service was very polite, although a little slow with taking orders. Overall, food is good, prices are average, but the atmoshpere is definitely lacking.
Starting with good things: nice ambient in the summer with outdoor sitting. Good drinks and also Korean chicken aperitif.
The bad aspects: The service was not attentive and the waiting time is more then you should wait, especially for a ramen. The restaurant was not at full capacity. It was sad to see people leaving just because they couldn’t order even drinks after long waiting time.
I had many ramens in my life and this was below average- mine was still ok but my husband’s reminded more of a sauce then the soup. He added some extra water to be able to eat it.
Without exaggeration, we waited for food for more than an hour. They also replaced one of the dishes with another. The waiter argued that we ordered it. It was the first time I saw something like that in the cafe. Also there are the service fee is included in the bill. One good thing that after conflict with the wrong dish waiter apologized and we hadn’t paid for service. I would never come back.
