Restaurant is located 15 minutes by foot from main Old Town Square. They have very large garden with a lot of tables. Prices a little above average. Portions big. I have ordered too much. Food tasty but not real Czech. Could be better.
Highly recommend!! Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Service staff was extremely friendly! Julia was very charming, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, and the menu is bountiful! Overall- Wonderful! We will return. :-)
Only minus one star for atmosphere because we sat outside (our own choice) and the cigarette smoke was in our face while we were eating. If you don’t like breathing smoke while eating I recommend you sit inside. We will, next time.
One of two Czech pubs in the Old Market.
Main beer offered here is Budvar (Budweiser) from the tank.
Also some other Czech beers in bottles are available.
Plenty of space inside and in beer garden.
On the menu there are several Czech dishes and snacks to accompany beer.
The food is perfect, beautiful surroundings, extensive menu, tasty beer. I will definitely go there more than once, just because of Tartar! There is a paid parking next to the restaurant at 9zl /hour. The restaurant is a 5-minute walk from the car park.
As I was living in Prague for quite some time, I craved Czech food and beer while visiting Poznań for a short city break. The experience wasn’t disappointing! Fried cheese with fries and sauces is huge, however, I’d consider the portions ratio – there was one piece of cheese and way too many fries. The beef goulash with knedliky my friend ordered was authentic and delicious. The beer is top notch, the same with attentive and friendly service. The interior reminded me of Czech restaurants and the Olympics screening inside was a cherry on top. Nicely spent evening and overall a great experience. Will be coming back!
