Food is good, staff is friendly. We got some appetizers to apologize for the wait time, but it did not take long at all. Sadly they did not have all the beers on the menu, only some IPA’s and a wheat beer.
The tartar starter was delicious, good combination of ingredients. For main we had the confit duck and beef ragout goulash. Both were very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. Meat was so moist it falls apart. For desert we had the cheesecake. The topping and sauce were good quality chocolate, the cheesecake tasted like cottage cheese.
Everything was just okay, nothing really shined and there were no major let downs. However. The Waldorf salad is vastly overpriced, lacking one single ingredient that would put it in the premium price range. Grapes and walnuts are for quite some time staples of modern cuisine and cannot justify the cost. Pasta (puttanesca) was plain and simply generic tasting and labeling it as home-made is just unnecessary for someone who knows pasta. Limited vegetarian options a bit disappointing. Service was very attentive and basque cheesecake a pleasant surprise.
From the first step into the reataurant, we could feel taken care of by waitress Julia, who was very helpful and made us feel like home. All dishes we have ordered were different, and each of them was having its own unique taste – to chefs . Farina is the restaurant what we can recommended to all, who’s a food connoisseur. Thank you Farina and keep going this way.
Waiting for 20minutes to get order. Draft beer – dont have… Ok. Can we get Pinsa please – dont have….. Ok. Can we get bottle of white eine – dont have…… Ok. Can we get more of that bottle beer – dont have cold…. Ok.
