Relaxed places to grab some nice food and a beer. A pity that the opening hours are only until 7PM, from my point of view a missed opportunity to make some good money….to nice place to be closed at 7 PM
Karczma Hutnika is by far the best dining experience in Szklarska Poręba for me. Everything about this place is out of ordinary. Outside seating area combined with kids playground and a little stage to host events. Inside, there is this main seating hall and another one level higher, similar to a round balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We ordered sour soup in bread, cabbage soup and fried and boiled pierogi (dumplings). Everything was really, really good and fresh, served on big plates. Next time I am in Szklarska Poręba, this is the place for my meals. EDIT: visited Karczma Hutnika again. Another great culinary experience.
We came here multiple times and return again. The owner is amazing and always welcoming, we had amazing kwasnica and the wild boar gulash with pierogy. The eve ambiente around fire place was really great suprise on 16th Feb’23 and we are definitelly coming back again. Recommending! Greatings from Prague
We were first guests in the restaurant after opening, we waited almost 40 minutes for our food.
Pork steak was large, but dry, sour soup in bread was really small portion for the price and the bread was toasted but not crispy, it was old and stale.
The chicken broth from the kids menu for our little one was just broth from the regular menu, that is greasy as hell…ideal for a toddler.
Dont expect anything spectacular for the prices.
The swarming of wasps was just a cherry on top.
