We like to find places where we can enjoy a quiet drink and as we were passing this looked the ideal place. We were offered the menu, but at the time we decided drinks was all we wanted. In the back ground we could see there was an 80th celebration going on, our eyes were drawn to the food that was being served to the party guests. We decided to stay. Good choice, good service.
We didn’t have a reservation when we got there on a Saturday, so we asked for a reservation for the next day since we always wanted to try this restaurant. It’s located near our apartment so we always passed this place and wanted to eat there for a long time.
We were really satisfied with the food and service here. We had an appetizer, the sirloin carpaccio, beef steak, pork dish and the chocopot for dessert. It was so good! And it was not pricey as all. The ambience is nice and the staff are so friendly. Overall, it’s a place where you wanted to recommend to your friends and family.
I arrived at the restaurant at around 9:30 pm on a school day. There were some regulars sipping on draft beer and a couple finishing their dinner. I wasn’t very hungry and went with two appetisers and a glass of house red. I went with the warm choice first: chicken livers with slivers of precooked apple and onion with a honey touch accompanied with a warm, home baked bun. It was absolutely scrumptious. The livers were cooked perfectly. Medium and crisp on the outside. Salt and pepper to be added upon serving. Yummy.
The second starter was a cold one, a generous plate of carpaccio topped with beautiful medium sized capers, slivers of Parmesan cheese (wish they were a little larger:), and with absolutely delicious drippings of homemade pesto.. not sure if there were pine nuts in there, but there was a delicate finishing to each bite. Topped with a handful of baby rucola. The meat was super delicate and absolutely delicious. Portion ideal and price acceptable. I would definitely go back and recommend for a cozy dinner or earlier lunchtime with a great assortment of soups and salads.
(Side note, and that goes to all restaurants in Szczecin. The closing hour shared on googlemaps does not match with the actual time of kitchen closings. In this case I was one hour and a half before the actual closing of the restaurant and the kitchen was still open, but felt as though it might close at any moment and that the menu might be incomplete).
We arrived just a few minutes before closure but they welcomed us and let us eat as long as we wished to. The food was excellent, rich portions and good price. Great experiences ❤️
