This experience was so good we returned the next day for another one. It’s a very big restaurant with a picturesque and maybe little kytschy intereur resembling a cave of mythical creature, however the main part here is the food. First evening we tried the platter of various pierogy for two and everything was fantastic, as well as mushroom soup. The next day we tried the meat platter with chicken, pork and duck and all was excellent too, meat was tender and portion was generous. Drank a few of the Hirachberger craft beer, service was very polite and we had overall great time. Total recommendation.
I am wondering who is giving here 5 stars? You have never eaten in a good restaurant with a fast service? waited for drinks 20 min, main dishes 45min and place was half empty! „Ciorba” The „recommendation of the chef” Was really poor, pork neck from grill was dry, and not even mentioning old potatoes and tasteless veggies on a side. My wife’s „kociolek” Was not terrible on the positive side of our evening there. I hope that other restaurants around are better as this one was really bad.
We visited during the long weekend when there were a lot of guests, and we were warned by the staff that the wait time for the main dishes is around 50 minutes, which we accepted. The food was very good (chicken with hazelnuts, mountain soup). The waiters were professional, and did their best to serve everyone. There were no free seats outside, we were seated inside, and there was not enough air, but it was a day like this, overall.
