Very crowded- that’s how you know the food is good. It’s crowded with locals! The portion size for the price is awesome! I paid $11 for both the Pepsi and the dish. Wait time was long , about 50 minutes.
Great place for traditional Polish lunch! The service is really nice and the atmosphere is nice. The portions are quite big, I shared one soup and one main with my boyfriend. You can pay by card!
Top 5 food places in Poland I’ve ever eaten at! Nice portions for not too much money and the food is DELICIOUS. wont miss many things in Poznan, but this I will.
I’ve been to quite a few milk bars in Poland, so knew what to expect. This one was very busy each time I passed and I was incredibly lucky to get a seat, albeit outside. The layout of the interior was poor, with one large table around which all customers were sat, except for the lucky few who got a seat at the tables facing the window. Don’t expect any privacy and you’ll likely be sat next to a stranger.
Service at the counter was ok, nothing special.
Food was more expensive than other milk bars, at 37zl for the fried pork chop, but the portion size was larger than elsewhere (possibly the largest pork chop I’ve ever seen).
I felt like I was going to someone’s home to eat. The place is small we sat at the table with other people. There is bar style seating by the window and street seating. They apparently are opening a new location 1/11/2024 (Nov. 1 for Americans). The food is über amazing. I am going to go out on a limb… So delicious and possibly the best we have had since being in Poland a year. No we have not been in a box. There might be places that have a tasty schnitzel, or another a great meat platter. This place has grandma’s recipe food for a great price. The pierogies are so soft and pillowy, the pork neck flavorful and tender. The pork schnitzel was a perfect size and the potatoes so lovely. As soon as you get a chance make your way here.
